Prior to officially declaring the Philosophy major or minor, you are strongly encouraged to meet with the PHIL academic advisor to understandÌýthe requirements of the new program and any potential impacts to your graduation timeline. To declare a Philosophy major:
- If you are already a College of Arts & Sciences student, submit theÌýArts & Sciences Change of Major/Minor Form:Ìý/artssciences-advising/current-arts-sciences-undergraduate-students-wanting-adddropchange-arts-sciences-majors.
- If you are not an A&S student (Leeds/Business, Engineering, Music, Education, CMDI), please meet with your current academic advisor to discuss the intra-university transfer process:Ìý/artssciences-advising/intra-university-transfer-iut-college-arts-sciences.Ìý

Sandy is your assigned academic advisor for the Philosophy major/minor. If Philosophy isn't your only program, you may be assigned to multiple advisors. You can meet with your academic advisor to discuss graduation, scheduling, degree audit, classes, and more. She offers individual appointments year-round.
