Health insurance waivers are taking longer than expected to process due to the new insurance platform this fall. If your waiver is not reflected on the bill by the due date and you are assessed a late fee, the Bursar's Office will work with you after Sept. 5. The deadline to waive insurance has been extended to Sept. 19. The timing of the waiver will not affect your coverage. All students must have a complete medical insurance policy when they are enrolled at ºÚÁÏÉçÇøÍø. ºÚÁÏÉçÇøÍø wants students to have financial security in case they experience a severe illness or injury while studying at the university. How health insurance affects the tuition bill: If you do not waive the Anthem Gold SHIP each fall semester by providing verification of private insurance, the amount for Anthem Gold SHIP will appear on the tuition bill and will be included in the balance due for the semester.
