    Activism and free expression play an important role in our democracy by enabling us to share our ideas, engage in healthy debate and respectfully disagree with one another. We believe in educating and providing opportunities for our campus community to engage on issues.

    Freedom of expression is central to ºÚÁÏÉçÇøÍøâ€™s academic mission. It’s also what makes us all Buffs. At the same time, we must provide public safety, while maintaining campus operations and the ability for students, faculty and staff to access campus facilities. We encourage all Buffs to engage their fellow Buffs with courage, curiosity, care and consistency.

  • Chip the buffalo mascot with a pride flag
    ºÚÁÏÉçÇøÍø has often celebrated Pride in October along with LGBT History Month, because there are not many students on campus in June during Pride Month. Students, staff and faculty are invited to events throughout the month.
