French & Italian is co-sponsoring a talk with the Center of African and African American Studies on 9/24 at 5pm in HUMN 145. The talk will be by a professor and theater specialist from Burkina Faso, who will tell us about the world of theater and culture in the now highly complex and challenging climate of Burkina Faso today.
The French & Italian Department is organizing a special public and engaged humanities event on September 19th. Susan Derwin, Director of the UC Santa Barbara Interdisciplinary Center, will discuss her groundbreaking work with California schools and prisons.

This course focuses on analyzing the growth of the "Made in Italy" brand, starting from its establishment in the 1950s and leading up to today's Italian companies' global success. Students will examine the language of business and marketing strategies in the fashion, food, wine, leather, design, and art sectors. Taught in Italian
