Personalized career advising

All �� alumni are eligible for two free career advising appointments each calendar year, with the option of additional sessions for $30 per appointment. Unlimited free career advising is available for new graduates within their first year after graduation, ensuring new alumni have the guidance to navigate early career stages.

Virtual job search sessions and events

Alumni Career Services offers a Virtual Job Search Group (VJSG) with sessions during the academic year covering various aspects of job searching and career transition to keep you updated and inspired. Additionally, you can attend workshops and events to connect with fellow alumni and industry professionals.

Robust networking platforms

The Forever Buffs Network, a free online community, connects you with mentors, potential employers and fellow alumni. Through this platform, you can join groups based on your college, professional interests or personal hobbies, fostering meaningful relationships and expanding your professional network.

Comprehensive job search tools

Handshake makes searching for a job easier. As an alum, you have access to this comprehensive online career resource. Active Handshake users receive emails about upcoming events, career fairs and company-hosted information sessions. This platform is a great way to connect with recruiters and explore jobs and internships.

Mentorship opportunities

The Forever Buffs Network Mentorship Program allows you to receive career guidance from experienced �� alumni in your field. This mentorship can provide invaluable industry insights, job search advice and professional development support. The free program runs for nine months, starting in September each year, with online and in-person mentorship options. You can connect with Forever Buffs anytime using the network’s exclusive directory.

When it comes to philanthropy, it’s easy to get caught up in the multimillion-dollar donations that often make headlines. While these gifts are undeniably transformative, every gift — large and small — adds value.

In fiscal year 2024, the Student Emergency Fund received almost 300 gifts, adding over $80,000 to help students facing unexpected financial hardships.
